Ways to reduce age gaps in digital skills of the population

Abstract

The publication is devoted to the development of effective approaches to the acquisition of digital competencies of the elderly population in the context of an increasing share of older people in the population structure in order to stabilise the economy and regional development of the country. The object of research is the foreign experience of developed countries, and the subject of research is the possibility of its implementation in long-term processes for the acquisition of digital skills by older people who are interested in their development. The purpose of the article is to find theoretical solutions for teaching and improving digital literacy and digital skills of people in Ukraine. The results of the study will help determine the course for the implementation of digital literacy training, as well as minimise the age gap in digital skills of older people.
