Abstract

The aim of the article is to identify the competences of employees in the era of Industry 4.0 and the concept of Industry 5.0, as well as to determine the changes necessary in the education process in order to provide the labor market with personnel who are able to meet the challenges posed to modern enterprises of the 21st century. Further on, attention was drawn to the need for changes in the education process. The importance of internationalization and networking of universities and the necessity to popularize project-based education with the use of such educational techniques as: Problem-based learning, Challenge-based learning, Flipped Classroom, Case study teaching were emphasized. Attention was also drawn to the need to adapt the educational offer and introduce new fields of study, which are a response to the needs of Industry 4.0 and the Industry 5.0 concept.
