Social aspects of sustainable development

Abstract
The theses is concerned with studying the impact social factors on sustainable
development policy. Maintaining democratic standards, reducing poverty and inequality,
fighting for equal rights for women and men, and health protection are the goals of sustainable
development. In the face of the crises emerging in Europe, it is necessary to restore the balance
between the social and market dimensions. Counteracting inequalities requires changes in
socio-economic policies, and facing the challenges of rebuilding the country will be a priority
after the war. The loss of human capital, increased burden on social security and the fight
against areas of poverty are just some of the many problems of the economy. Stimulating the
economy will require not only rebuilding infrastructure, but also strengthening staff training in
a number of sectors. Social security, which requires coping with demographic trends and the
increased population of older people, is another systemic challenge.
